If the automated updates service is not able to update any plugin in your WordPress site. The server will notify ManagedWP of updates made and the was that encountered issues, immediately, our system will trigger an email to the registered contacts and admin; the email message will be as the example shown below, you will then need to follow the instructions stated there in order to update the listed plugins.

Subject: Plugin on "YOUR SITE NAME" Needs Your Attention

We recently tried to update "YOUR SITE URL" and were unable to update all plugins successfully.

The plugins that we could not update were:

(PLUGINS WILL BE lISTED HERE)

1.- "Plugin 1 Name"

2.- "Plugin 2 Name"

3.- "Plugin 3 Name"

Normally, when this happens it is because these are premium plugins that you have purchased that have either not been correctly licensed for the site or have had their license period expire.

If you have active license keys for these plugins, you'll need to log into your site in WordPress and update the plugin settings with the license keys, or, if you can’t figure it out, send us the correct license keys for the plugins so that we can take care of it for you.

Once you have done this, just hit reply to this email to let us know and we’ll check and confirm that we can correctly update the plugins.

Thanks,

ManagedWP Support
